I work as a postdoctoral researcher (Core Fellow) at the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies, University of Helsinki, on a project titled Racism without others: Everyday mediations in Poland. By training, I am a media and communication researcher interested in the role of communication in addressing, or not, ethical challenges that face an increasingly globalised world. To study this issue, I promiscuously branch out into various more and less adjacent disciplines, such as sociology, social and cultural anthropology, history, social geography, political science, and literary studies.
